Very peaceful & lots of opened space. Couple of trails in the area. Just be aware sometimes, there’s some weird guy always in the area always looking suspicious. Wears a red & black sweater with a black hat. At times comes in a grey 2016 Ford Explorer.
A pretty lake with a nice public parking lot and walking trails. The real exciting thing is the new addition of mountain bike trails around the lake and across the road over towards sunset lake. Really great trails with some elevation gain for what seems like a relatively flat area.
If your are looking for a nice quiet place to maybe walk your dog or go for a walk yourself Mary Elmer lake on the outskirts of Bridgeton is the place to go also I hear the fishing is good I don't know what kind of fish you can catch there though.
Great lake to fish take a walk or feed the ducks. There pretty tame and will take food from you. Trails on the opposite side of the pics I posted over the dam. Use to swim here 40 years ago when they had lifeguard stand.
