Confirmed from Maury County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It was very quiet and peaceful when I visited, and it's a good place to be in nature, without being in nature!”

Beautiful park, super clean, tons of trails which most are handicapped accessible, a dog park and many playgrounds/swings. I love seeing all the nature. The pavilions were awesome and spread out throughout the park. 2 beautiful observation decks. I love the trains and tracks throughout the park.

★★★★★ — Barbara , May 2020

Beautiful large park that offers so much to do! Picnic or ride a bike trail. How about the playground dedicated to Jared's Dream. Or the miles of beautiful rolling landscape with large ancient trees. Plenty of picnic areas and restrooms.

★★★★★ — Lori , Sep 2022

Such a great outdoor space! Plenty of waking trails with gorgeous sunsets. Play areas for kids. Lots of pavilions and shelters for gatherings. Well maintained.

★★★★★ — Laura , Dec 2020

Maury County Park is a wonderful spot for families, and the real magic shines brightest around the playground and the miniature train tracks. The playground sits in a perfect little pocket of the park — open, inviting, and full of room for kids to run, climb, and let their imaginations loose.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.

  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
