Wonderful park. Well maintained. We were on vacation and needed to let the kiddos stretch theirs legs. So much to do and it has shaded areas. I hope to return here one day.
I've only been to the dog park so that is what this review is for. For a city with no grass I am so happy they have this dog park! Up here for work and it's so nice to be able to take my pup to the park to be in a more familiar environment since we're from Houston.
Maxey's is great. My mini healer loves it there. It's divided into 2 separate fenced areas for big and little dogs. Nice grass, trees, huge rocks, toys, picnic tables, etc. It's always clean. Several times that we've gone no one else was there and my baby had the run of the park.
It has a great dog park. Two large sections, 1 for big dogs & 1 for small dogs. Plenty of shade and seating. People clean up nicely after their pets. I come almost daily and never have any issues. The people and their dogs are always friendly. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
