Confirmed from McElroy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic tables, and facilities for baseball, basketball, and horseshoes, plus a skate area.

It's got great walking paths in the summer and little hills for sledding in the winter. There is a handicap accessible swing. A retro play area complete with merry go round and a newer play area.
Great walking path in the park and small trails in the trees behind the river! Our dog loves this trails! Playground equipment is great for kids! Baseball diamonds, sand volleyball, horseshoes, skatepark, shelters for picnic events, and lots of open space for anything activities.

The practical stuff

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
