We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Mercy Woods Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Great area for easy hikes.”

The trail is easy, well marked and maintained. Moreover it is so quite and you don't find much human traffic

This hike is very well marked and easy to use. There is one bench in between to sit and relax. There are also shortcuts marked in red color if anyone wants to take. There are 2 main trails Mercy Loop(marked in yellow) and Ridge(marked in blue). Red and Violet ones are shortcuts. There is total 3 parking spaces also.

Nice parking area shortly off a major road. There is a posted trail map at the parking lot. Alltrails app has good maps for it with elevations too. We had a lovely autumn hike. We took the longest path, yellow trail to the Blue trail then back to the yellow trail.

Well marked and maintained trails. Load up on the bug spray and enjoy close and convenient hiking adventure.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
