Confirmed from Mesa Contenta Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

My review of: Mesa Contenta park This is an HOA park. Signs state that only residents and guests of residence are allowed here. The grass is thick and lush. There are beautiful picnic benches and tables. Beautiful stone work on the covered picnic tables. The play equipment is shaded and has wood chips underneath.

★★★★★ — Eileen , May 2014

Beautiful, but small City park in a newer sub-division. Lots of grass, covered picnic area and playground equipment. Parking is a major issue as the main street it's on is no parking and the two side streets having limited parking.

★★★★★ — Lew , Dec 2018

Very nice park. Nice and shaded and good playground equipment for young and older kids. The trail to the scenic overlook is easy and fun, as well.

★★★★☆ — Jonathan , Sep 2020

Very nice little park. Very clean and the equipment is covered in shade. Nice grassy area for dog walking and flying kites.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
