Confirmed from Micke Grove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park where kids can run around in fountains, climb rocks and meet animals.
What runners say about Micke Grove Park
“Bathrooms are generally pretty clean and there's many but they're older park restrooms, sooo keep that in mind.”
“Would be nice to someday see more animals have a home at this beautiful set up of a small environment zoo.”
“Tons of trees and shade and plenty of benches and picnic tables, even when it's busy the park itself is big enough to not feel crowded.”
Micke Grove Park is a massive, shady oasis with a fantastic playground, ample open space, picnic spots, and a giant splash pad. The kids had a blast running around and playing together since there was so much shade.
Wonderful park, a staple of the area. Lots to do here, zoo, Japanese gardens, San joaquin historical museum, disc golf, have a picnic or party, or just go for a jog, walk, or bike ride and enjoy the outdoors!
Micke Grove is a beautiful regional park in rural Lodi. It has a zoo (very affordable admission), a Japanese garden, a museum about San Joaquin County, lots of picnic areas, a small pond and walking trail, and will eventually have a mini-golf course. A great place for families and group gatherings.
A great place to take little ones that love water! They have a toddler area and a larger area. Lots of shade around too!
