Confirmed from Mickie D. Cochran Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational site with athletic courts, picnic tables, and a playground, plus facilities for football and tennis.
What runners say about Mickie D. Cochran Park
“There are Playgrounds and nice clean greenspace, so if you want to rent bouncy houses, play soccer, flag, etc.”
Honestly this park is 5 star because it's clean, great facilities and it's huge . There are walking trails and courts for all types of sports. The only thing missing here are water fountains, it's kinda sad for such an amazing recreational area to not have that, a lot of little ones were looking for water.
Perfect for casual outdoor events. The Pavillions are with covered tables and barbecue grills. They have bathrooms attached to each pavilion. There are Playgrounds and nice clean greenspace, so if you want to rent bouncy houses, play soccer, flag, etc. the lawns are great.
The shade was GREAT. Somebody changed the nets; so I was pleased. When I become wealthy, I hope to donate glass backboards and upgrade the pavement. Glad it's there.
It was a nice little park and trail but unlike some of the pictures there's absolutely NO water at this park
