Confirmed from Mill Creek Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
300-acre nature preserve with upland & wetland habitats, plus trails for hiking & birdwatching.
What runners say about Mill Creek Preserve
Nice escape from everyday life. Not much shade. Wear boots after any rain. Look out for ruts. Enjoy the nature.
A pleasant surprise. I snowshoed the trail. Will come back in the spring.
It’s wonderful. You will leave so much more relaxed after being around nature. The bat houses are pretty awesome and you may even see some bats. As with all trails be careful of deer ticks.
It's literally in the woods. So beautiful, but be careful. You're in there with the animals. Great for runs, or romantic strolls for outdoor types.

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
