Confirmed from Mill Race Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, and facilities for soccer and picnics.
What runners say about Mill Race Park
“Very nice park well kept bike path goes through it went there for soccer game to watch.”
“There is a beautiful creek that runs along side the park.”
Nice open space, with a soccer field, pickleball courts, and a playground. Has a covered area with picnic tables which can be nice for shade or to spend time with a group. Good place to park to walk the path that goes for miles along the river! The path also connects to Palmer Pump Park which is another fun area.
It's a good park. Its main benefit is that it's located off the Tatamy bike path and has some wide open spaces. When they aren't playing little league games here. Plus they have bathrooms, a water fountain, and the standard picnic pavilion. And an excessively massive parking lot.
I love this park. It's not a traditional park, though. There is no playground for children. There is a field with bleachers where sometimes a league soccer. There are several tennis courts available. Lots of parking. There are many tables under a gazebo for eating. There is a bathroom that is usually clean.
Great park with walking trails, bathroom, pavilion, soccer fields, playground and tennis courts. Another huge plus is ample parking. Palmer township does a nice job of keeping the grounds and walking trails nice. We often come here for my son's soccer games.
Trail conditions & character
“Only problem I seen was bathrooms not open but stated they were with hours and had porta johns for use.”
“There are soccer fields that are used by youth league's every Saturday from 9am- 6pm so parking may become a challenge at that time, but worth the visit.”
“Plus they have bathrooms, a water fountain, and the standard picnic pavilion.”

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
