“2 miles, but great variety and peaceful / quiet.”
It's a nice trail, but with a steep entrance. From the parking lot it leads down to the White Clay Creek. Once down it follows the old railroad tracks along the river and in a loop along the creek. Nice area. I loved it and will come back.
Black walnut, tulip poplar, sycamore, oak, maple, beech and more compose this over a mile in length wooded trail. After a steep hill to the start of the trail you will find a more gentle path that goes along the old Pomeroy & Newark Railroad bed and the banks of the White Clay Creek.
Been here a couple times went back today it's still nice but it's woods so you have to be careful the grass after you start the trail is high not really u can still walk through u do a couple different trails it's nice there's trails to the creek over this small bridge it's really nice met a little friend who scared…
Short, about 1.2 miles, but great variety and peaceful / quiet. Funny to park in a neighborhood but a great trail
