We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Milligan Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“They've added a skate park into it so kids of all ages have a place to skate without getting into trouble.”

Nice facility. There was a public pool, splash pad, skate park, playground, pavilion all within walking distance! The kids enjoyed the park. We made lunch and had a meal next to the skate park. The restroom going to the pool was open for use.

I've enjoyed going to Milligan Park over the years. I even hung out here, as a teenager, in High School! But they've made alot of changes, upgrades, added various things, etc...

Not a stroller friendly park, especially in Autumn with walnuts everywhere and no walking paths. This park is large and quite beautiful, but is best suited for older children that can walk on their own. Not suitable for mom/stroller walks (which is at the stage we are currently at).

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
