Confirmed from Minnehaha Falls Lower Glen Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic wilderness with walking paths, a waterfall and picnic spots.
What runners say about Minnehaha Falls Lower Glen Trail
“All the staircases were blocked with chains, Gates and locks but it was a beautiful sight”
This inner city escape is quite large and scenic. The river valley is cut by these falls and they are quite sizeable! This place is not secret, so expect a crowd. Lots of different trails and ways to access falls! Great in all seasons, the falls obviously run the hardest in the spring!
This is such a beautiful place. The water is very low at this time so my teenager and I were able to explore the waterfall a bit closer. There are many trails of all levels at this park. Places to get your feet wet and so much to explore! Also several other parks close by.
Safety first, highkey slipped like 5 times, two directed to the water, but didn't react cause I'm a grown up y'know 🙌 srsly safety first. Snowy picturesque, conservative amount of high-low hills for sledding, chillin' doh. Check it out in all seasons. It's fun.
This is a great spot to find some nature in the city. The trails are nice, clean and not crowded. Definitely recommend.
