Confirmed from Monroe Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Monroe Park
“Grounds kept pretty clean.”
Great playground equipment, small rock climbing wall for kids, soccer field, running/walking track, picnic area, parking lot, Porta potty, plenty of room for kids to run, well maintained, a few small trees planted in recent years.
Nice clean park. Small but plenty of space to run around and a playground area for kids.
You can walk your dog,in the park looked like they have a place to play soccer and basketball. Play ground equipment looked good for small children to tweens.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
