Confirmed from Monterey Peninsula Recreational Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is the best walk to do in Monterey! You can walk it a slower pace or take a Bike or E-Bike on the trail as well. Beautiful views the whole way down to Lover’s Point or down further to Asilomar.
Fantastic trail, easy to walk and had an absolutely great time. Great way to enjoy the sunset and the beautiful weather. Seemingly endless miles and miles of trail without too many people.
The trail has these marks along the path, it was fun tracking and spoting the historic sites in the area!! give it a try
Loved riding e-bikes on the bike trail. Lots of sights to see and visit. Lover’s Point Park was a nice stop on the trail.
