Confirmed from Mount Washington City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly park featuring a playground, tennis courts, baseball fields and picnic tables.
What runners say about Mount Washington City Park
“It's all kept clean and we're lucky to have such a nice park in our area.”
“The kids(Did-O & DaVinci) decided to go for a walk today what better place to walk then in a park, They have paths here to walk on & what a beautiful day to do it .”
“It was a warm sunny day, but parts of the playground was shaded by some large beautiful trees.”
“They keep it safe, calm, and relatively chaos-free, which is a miracle considering the amount of Capri Suns and Goldfish crumbs on site.”
“I have only been here a few times but the skatepark is very nice and beginner friendly from what i remeber and the locals were also friendly”
My wife and I took two of our grandkids, (1 and 4 year olds) to the playground. It was a warm sunny day, but parts of the playground was shaded by some large beautiful trees. (nice) The playground was separated into 2-sections by gated fences, one for the toddlers and the other for older kids.
Playground was recently redone and has plenty of room to run and play and is completely fenced in. The pavilions are large and nicely landscaped and offer grills for picnics. Plus there is a skate park as well. They just built a bathroom pavilion recently so now it has everything you need.

Very beautiful, peaceful and welcoming place. Not to busy with people so you can enjoy your surroundings without distraction. Great place to run, walk or take the kids to play. Been to a lot of parks and this one is one of my favorites.
