Confirmed from Music Mound's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxing, scenic area featuring hiking trails, waterfalls and a bridge over a river.
What runners say about Music Mound
“Beautiful and peaceful and now a very special place because I will be marrying the most amazing and beautiful woman this coming Sunday.”
Nice open area where people come to play and enjoy music. Small parking lot which will lead you to a hiking trail, across the bridge to Wallace Lake, or to Berea Falls overlook. Don't forget to stop over the bridge and capture a picture of the waterfalls from Baldwin Creek.
Beautiful place to walk with kids. Fun place to take pictures with friends.
As dry as it's been this late summer/fall we were pleasantly surprised that the falls had water running over. The grass was still a soft green at the Music Mound across the street.
Very cool spot. Ideal for a picnic, small trail around it. Wear bug spray.

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
