Confirmed from NARA Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about NARA Park
“There are clean restrooms, a food concession area, scenic hilltop views, and a stage that hosts various events throughout the year.”
“The walking path around the water is beautiful, I didn't end up going around it but would have loved to cross the long bridge over the water.”
“The park offers beautiful greenery, peaceful walking trails, and a fun stream where kids can splash and play.”
Always a nice lake beach for swimming and kids play. There is a small fee, but compared to the North Shore beach parking it's nothing .Has 3 or 4 huts for shade, a snack stand camp for kids in the summer and it's surrounded by a brand new bike path for walking etc...
I hiked around the back side of NARA park, so I'm not too sure about it. I know the hiking trails beside the body of water are nice. The walking path around the water is beautiful, I didn't end up going around it but would have loved to cross the long bridge over the water.
Great ground and a very lively atmosphere. We were playing cricket but there were several volleyball courts and the ground was filled with people. There are a few small trails and a pond .There is also a snack shop in the parking lot. Parking is abundantly available for free.
We recently visited Nara Park in Acton, MA, for a quick stroll, and it was a delightful experience. The park offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, perfect for a family outing. My daughter especially enjoyed the play area and had a great time on the swings.
