Confirmed from Natural Lands' Green Hills Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed countryside retreat known for its birdlife and grassland trails, with views, wildflowers and butterflies.

My first time visit was on Tuesday July 2 2019. I explored two trails and I really enjoyed the quiet and serenity that the nature area provided. Plenty of birds and a stray cat were observed.
This trail is near my job, nice place to take an easy walk during lunch for fresh air. This is apart of 18 NLT trails, each head trail has a code word, if you collect all the code words, they’ll give you a nifty fleece vest!
This is a very nice 200+ acre preserve. The preserve is planted with grasses to provide habitat for Bobolink, Easter Bluebirds and Eastern Meadowlarks. Just look up and you may see the American Kestrels The preserve is also planted with wildflowers to provide habitat for butterflies, bees, wasps and other pollinators.
I liked the trails at the Natural Lands' Green Hills Preserve. They were very well marked just like all of the other Natural Lands' Preserves that I've visited. One of the signs stated that, in the past, this site was going to be developed for housing.
