Nice spot to get a hike in if your local or even within 15 to 30 miles. Not alot of different trails but the trails are long enough to enjoy. Maybe 4 to 6 miles of trails. Rocky areas, great during early spring or mid fall. Also great place to learn about ferns, trees, mushrooms, and animals.
Two and four mile muddy, buggy and rocky loops with a few tiny spurs- perfect for a leashed and well trained dog. NO BIKES!... I mean the picture is neither of a rocky or muddy portion, but it's full of both...
The yellow trail is very nice and well marked. The purple trail bridges have been repaired. However this trail could still benefit from putting in a method to protect the trail in areas prone to flooding.
This trail (purple trail) was a good test of my balance! Lots of rocks and tree roots, and a couple of stream crossings. It's a step up from the trails we've been hiking recently in both length and difficulty, which is what I need to get back in shape for the more difficukt trails I'd like to hike.
