Confirmed from Neenah Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (471 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“( I'd use a leaf blower) In fact, I'd bring one with you to clean after the party because you're responsible for clean up.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“It seems like there are plenty of family friendly things to enjoy like a playground, a field and walking trails.”

The park is huge. There are 2 playgrounds. Both are fun and at different sides of the park. There are many soccer fields. There is a good size hill. Our favorite part is the woods. It is great for building forts. The trails are nice. Roots are marked with bright spray paint.

This park has improved very much over the years, recently attended a family function. The main shelter was rented to family members for $80, nice gathering spot two bathrooms, large facility with kitchen area in main room. There was also a fireplace. Just cozy all the way around.

Such a pretty area. We really enjoyed the little wooded area you could walk through. It seems like there are plenty of family friendly things to enjoy like a playground, a field and walking trails. There were plenty of people walking their dogs too. 😊 It has that nice community feeling.

Nice park great wooded trails (need some upkeep)would get 5 stars if the playground wasn't so gross(saw some personal used items...YUCK). Bathrooms and shelter nice and clean. A decent place to have a party at either shelter.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
