Confirmed from Newman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean city park featuring a playground, a pool and a splash ground with vintage-style equipment.

This is where I walk the track. The track alone is a quarter mile.So four rounds makes one mile, they have workout centers and two splash pads for little kids. The city pool's only open during the summer. And we are literally a stone's throwaway from the nolan county coliseum, it's an amazing place.
Nicest park in town. We only pass through Sweetwater, get sandwiches & take the here for lunch. Always a shaded table available so far.
This park had a great playground for toddlers and older kids (the sign says ages 2-12), and a great place to walk a dog on a leash!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.

Expansive, grassy park for picnics, kite flying, disc golf and ballgames, alongside ponds, playgrounds, a splash pad and a pool.
