Confirmed from Nike Trail | Lake Chabot's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly hiking area with picnic tables and a public restroom.

“Quiet and shaded, with plenty of picnic tables.”
When the Classroom is not in use, there is free parking with access to a Lake Chabot Regional Park trailhead for hiking and biking. There's also a drinking water fountain, chemical toilets, and several picnic tables with a barbecue. It's a great place to start (or finish) a hike.
You can park there and use the potty. The classroom is used for the Park service. There is water, and access to trails leading to lake chabot and redwood regional Park.
