Confirmed from North Augusta Greeneway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about North Augusta Greeneway
Great spot for a walk along the river! Can be quite crowded, but that’s because it’s such a nice place for a walk!
I’ve ridden this trail dozens of times and it is great! Very well kept, and never too crowded.
Living here a year now, I recurrently visit this trail for bike rides, walks, and runs. Very scenic, lush trees and flora, well paved, and spacious. Intersects with many fun locations like an activity center, walk near the river, and SRP park. Highly suggest even during a day trip.
I love the Greeneway! It is one of the best things about North Augusta! Most of it is shady and you can walk for miles in peace and quiet. It's a wonderful place to walk, bike, or run, and is great for dogs.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
