Confirmed from North Mississippi Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
River, woods & prairie grounds features diverse wildlife, trails, a big playground & a fishing pier.
What runners say about North Mississippi Regional Park
“This is a beautiful park and should be visited more often!”
“Great park for parties of all ages and the fishing ain't half bad either 😉”
We came here to hike in the winter along the river. The trails were nice & it was quiet with not a lot of people. There's a large parking lot with pay parking & a nature center with a restroom & fun educational activities.
Great park. Something for all ages. Separate large play areas for toddlers and older kids. Several covered picnic areas. Lots of walking paths. My only critism is not their fault and that is the noise from the freeway. We were at the northern end. I think farther south it is farther away so not so loud.
Loved walking through and exploring for the first time!!! Absolutely great to be outdoors and have parks and the view is just so nice! Biking paths and walking path signs are visible. Great place to chill by the river bank.
We had a small family reunion at Picnic area A. It was clean when we arrived and the park overall was in great condition - grass mowed, walking path free of debris, etc. An ice cream truck even rolled through partway through our event which was an unexpected treat. I'd happily host another event there in the future.
