We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of North Shore Lake Hodges Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking and mountain biking are available at this area that's also good for kids.

“Great mountain bike trails not for beginners more for experience riders much fun beware of hikers and dog walkers they are everywhere very busy lots of fun.”
Easier trail for a light hike with a few shaded spots, and many spots for plenty of sun. A good mix of casual hikers, dog walkers, and bikers. Wider trail. Walked out to Rattlesnake Lookout and back to Hernandez Hideaway for lunch! However, there is much more to explore!
My favorite hiking trail. I have been getting into hiking more over the months and this one is easy to follow plus the sights are beautiful. It is great to pick a distance or time you want to hike and go out and back at your own pace.

Great trail and Beautiful views. Will definitely come do this hike again. It's easy enough for kids and has a few nice places to stop a d rest. The only caution is that there are mountain bikers who do ride fairly fast on the trail and you need to keep a sharp eye on some of the corners.
