Confirmed from Oak Grove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Beautiful and fun park for the kids.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

This park is incredible! It's laid out in a way that has something for everybody. There is a large green space for games and picnicking. There are several gazebos. One is very large for big parties of multiple families to use. I hear you can rent it out all day for nominal fee from the city of Fontana.

Sadly I can't give this park 6 stars or else I would. Really nice park and super clean. They have a ton of climbing nets for the kiddos. They have an area for smaller kids and also bigger kids. They have swings and a lot of grass to run.

This park has great features and little bonus things like a ladybug decal on the younger play structure, and fossil imprints on the stepping logs. There's a small fountain for cooling hands and feet, a large sunsail shade over the balance logs, a big area with tables, a spinning carousel thing that was popular many…

One of the best parks in Fontana and a true hidden gem! 💎 The forest-themed playground is adorable, with bears, raccoons, and other woodland animals throughout the playground.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 6 mentions

“There is also a very cool wooden bridge and observation platform to view the play area.”
