We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Old Plank Road Trail - Meadowlark Road yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Old Plank Road Trail - Meadowlark Road
My only complaint is the bicyclists that come up behind you on the trail and don't let you know they're there. It's just common courtesy!
Great spot to pick up the trail heading west. Also a nice place to launch kayaks or canoes. Trail itself is a bit loud from traffic, but it does not nice farms and a few cool sections.
The Old Plank trail is always loud, this year I've only been East of Plymouth the surface is in pretty good shape. Not very busy, in the spring you normally have to contend with a strong wind. Because of the proximity to towns there can be a high percentage of E bikes
Nice multi travel path adjoining highway 23. A river is adjacent to parts of the trail, which is a very wide asphalt surface. The only downside is the highway traffic noise, which can be loud.
