Beautiful park. I was surprised at how huge the whole area is. It has various sections and we went to the Lakeview Pavillion and also checked out thr Rabb Pavillion. We really enjoyed our visit. The lake is beautiful. It has a lot of ducks and birds roaming around. The trail is pretty good.
This park has so much to do there are playgrounds, a man-made lake with little baby turtles, bluebonnets, large pavilions for picnics and BBQs, soccer fields, the disk golf course is insane (I'm coming back just to do the disk golf course), and there is so much open space.
Last time that I came to this park was probably 8 years ago and, yes, this place has changed and looks even better than before. The walk around the lake was a joy with a distance that is just right and not too overwhelmed, the view while walking was simply peaceful.
My family and I always love coming here for the parks and the walking trails and the ability to blaze your own trail if you want to. My personal favorite time to enjoy the park is during wildflower season.
