Confirmed from Oxbow Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Oxbow Trail
We're staying in the area for the month and have been here a couple of times. Beautiful location for a hike or just drive thru the park to see the scenery. The Oxbow Trail has a short .
Lovely trail in any season. There are a couple loops so you can make it a short walk or a longer stroll through the habitats that make Bitter Lake so special. Not much cover out there so bring a hat!
Definitely a little washed out after the flood, but completely navigable on foot. Didn't see any snakes but plenty of birds, lizards, even some fish and omg so many flys. Really wish there were signs telling you how far you were, like mile markers
Nice trail. It was relaxing. A lot of poo though so watch where you step.
