Confirmed from Oyster Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Oyster Creek Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (33 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Trail is paved, mowed, well maintained and the fruit is edible, at you own risk.”

Very scenic trail. As a rider, I give right of way to walkers or get off the trail all together. The benefits of riding a fat bike. Its like riding through a paved marsh land. Love it!

This has edible trees planted and I have seen people out fishing. The trail is wide enough for bikes. Beautiful open land with blue jays, red cardinals and white cranes. You will find the following trees: jujubes, plums, olivea, persimmons, naranje, figs, pecans, mulberries and that just some I can recall. Enjoy 🙂

January 11: walked Oyster Creek to Editable Fruit trees, about 3 & 1/2 miles at 9.30 47⁰ start, 52⁰ at end unlayering. One runner had sleeveless top with running shorts on. She was not prespiring. Trail is paved, mowed, well maintained and the fruit is edible, at you own risk. However some trees had citrus fruit.

Well kept trail. Arbor trail includes a large variety of fruit trees and herbs. Very educational.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
