Confirmed from Panorama Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Destination with kid-friendly hiking trails and mountain biking routes amid forested surrounds.
What runners say about Panorama Trail
“This was my first time riding horseback through here and even with snow and mud, it was beautiful!”
This is a great loop trail with some outstanding views. The whole White Mountains trail system is awesome. I really like all the trail markings on the trail system. They make it really easy to keep track where you are on the trail and how much you have left. Thanks T.R.A.C.K.S for all the work put in the trails.
Amazing mountain biking trail. We ride in Havasu where there are rocky trails so for us this trail was smooth. Definitely a few rocky places but nothing like Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Easy, long and beautiful hike. Not strenuous. Can't wait to trail run and take the mountain bike challenge in the spring. New to the area so great intro.
Great hiking trail, 'bout 2 miles in saw a lone Mexican red wolf...me and wife thought that was pretty cool
Trail conditions & character
“As the trail name implies there are some nice panoramic views but most of the time you are in the forest which is still enjoyable.”
“Moderate hike due to the length not the trail conditions assuming you are doing the entire loop.”
“We ride in Havasu where there are rocky trails so for us this trail was smooth.”

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
