Confirmed from Parham Bridges Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious, peaceful park offering tennis courts and playground equipment.
What runners say about Parham Bridges Park
“Absolutely beautiful place to play tennis or pickleball and a store with anything you need at good prices.”
I have walked at this park six days a week for one hour or 3 miles for the past 10 months. In summer, the trees provide intermittent shade and in winter the sunspots provide respite from the cold. There are regular Runners and walkers; we recognize and greet each other. We all get along and feel safe.
Come here because my Chihuahua loves it and if she's happy, I'm happy. Nice little piece of *almost* wilderness I'm town and it's easy to access. Many different things to do here....
This is a very popular tennis park just down from the Racket Club. There are paved, curvy walking paths filled with walkers morning to night.
Such a great park in the city of Jackson Mississippi. The family-oriented park has a little bit of everything. It has walking trails, exercise apparatus, etc. I would highly recommend if it is a nice day to stop at this one of a kind place and get some daily exercise in.
Trail conditions & character
“People abide by the leash law and if a dog is by chance not on a leash, it is either too old or too fat to be a threat.”
“There are paved, curvy walking paths filled with walkers morning to night.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
