Confirmed from Parker Sports Complex's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Parker Sports Complex

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (60 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“Doggie clean up bags, pavillion with power, clean portable bathrooms, a playground, and walking track.”

It's better than it use to be, not very shady but there is a large covered seating area that offers reprieve from the sun if you're there to walk or run. The path around the open field is .51 miles so a good place to time splits if that's your thing.

Perfect spot! The place has 2 dog parks, 4 pickleball courts, a large tennis court, and 2 full basketball courts as well as a playground, restrooms, and a walking trail. Would highly recommend checking it out

★★★★★ — Kaden , Dec 2023

Great little area for play, exercise, and fun! Very clean, spacious area for kids and adults to run or walk around. Basketball court, tennis/etc. courts that are gated. Clean bathrooms, water fountain that even has a bottle fill station built into it. Gated area for dogs to run and play.

Traveled from Nashville TN and my dog needed to run. Nobody was there; it was a chilly 7:30 am. I turned her loose and off she went. 7 month old big baby terrier pit bull mix. Strong as a bull and full of energy. Doggie clean up bags, pavillion with power, clean portable bathrooms, a playground, and walking track.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
