Confirmed from Paseo Miramar Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Natural area for a 5.5-mile hike (out & back) to a scenic overlook, with views along the way.
What runners say about Paseo Miramar Trailhead
“Best scenic hike in LA, 10/10 recommend and will bring friends and family here to elevate their experience and trip!”
Parking is almost impossible on Paseo even after 6 pm on weekends. The entire road is very narrow and the trailhead has at max 7 spots for parking at allowed time. But if you manage to start at 6 pm on Sunday, the trail and view is stunning.
No parking here but once you manage to get on the trail it's quite nice!! Gorgeous views of the coast and downtown Los Angeles along the entire hike. Too many photo spots to count. The trail itself is quite wide and is utilized by hikers, bikers, and joggers. Great place for a quick hike, 2.
One of the best trails I did during my stay in LA. It's a steady incline pretty much the while way up. The views of the mountains at the top are breathtaking. Highly recommend.
Great short little hike with beautiful views. Very private and easy to socially distance too.
