Confirmed from Peace Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene maze and playground area with a prayer wheel, plus a picnic pavilion and benches.
What runners say about Peace Park
“The parking lot was small, but not crowded and the bathrooms were clean for park bathrooms.”
“Peace Park is a beautiful retreat, offering a serene space to unwind and reflect.”
“It lives up to its name because even when you aren’t the only person there it is still just as peaceful and serene as if you were.”
We stopped here on our way through town to get a snack and let the kids run a bit. There was a nice shaded pavillion (a little messy, but still usable) and plenty of run for the kids to run. There is no playground equipment, but the cultural displays were interesting.
My favorite outdoor space in elko. Great for having a walk. This park does not have a playground but is a quiet place for exercise, reflection, walking dogs, or having a picnic. In the early spring a stream runs through it. Paths not really maintained in winter, can be icy if that's what the weather is doing.
Well taken care of. Trails are near street and houses but taken care of. Wish it was longer
Very nice small park. Interesting displays, nice trails and attractive natural landscaping. Our springer spaniel enjoyed it off-leash and on.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
