Confirmed from Peace Valley Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wildlife sanctuary and nature center featuring trails for hiking, biking and paddling.
What runners say about Peace Valley Nature Center
“There was plenty of nature meaning there were butterflies, geese, ducks, squirrels, the trails were beautiful and at the bridge we saw a snake on the rocks.”
A very nice part of Peace Valley, if you do not like the stone path around the lake there are many trails to get you lost deep in the woods. Calm and peaceful and an overall good experience.
Very nice national park with many trails, some very walked and some not so much. Also a huge lake where many people paddle board/kayak. Went on memorial day and it was packed!
Peace Valley Park is a beautiful place to do some relaxing in nature, do some fishing, rent a paddle boat in season, or a visit to the Nature Center. While along any trail, just close your eyes and listen. The birdsong, and breezes are all the music you need to enjoy this awesome spot.
Paved path around the lake is about 6 miles. Plenty of free parking. Boat ramps and rentals of canoes and paddle boats. Playgrounds and pavilions. Nature center with programs for adults and kids.
