Confirmed from Pecan Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Pecan Park
“It's a clean place to walk your dog or turn your kids lose to play on the playground.”

Small park with a playground, a small walking trail, and gorgeous oaks!
Small, no frills, neighborhood park with a short walking track and some playground equipment. Usually quiet. My daughters and their friends spent a lot of happy times there when they were younger.
It's a clean place to walk your dog or turn your kids lose to play on the playground. It also serves as an access to a small trail system at the back left corner, from the entrance of the park.
Traveling through, needed a place to get out and stretch and enjoy the air and Remy (our pup the Westie) needed to walk ~ gorgeous, shaded, trees with short walking trail made it perfect!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
