Confirmed from Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Love this park the trails are super clean an open you can see the deer when they walk around. Which is great for the kids. Theirs a ton of animal activity between the birds, deer and whatever else you are lucky to encounter.

What a beautiful and peaceful place! I recommend arriving on the earlier side so you can get a little peace and quiet. I absolutely loved this trail and will return again.

This a great alternative getaway and tucked away hiking paradise that doesn’t require a long drive from the suburbs of Montgomery County. Smaller than Wissahickon, yet plenty of beautiful views, a horse stable, and a green house garden with multiple bird feeders to watch exotic species from a few lounge chairs to…

This preserve located on 2955 Edge Hill Road in Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery is my favorite walking park. It's a diverse ecosystem that you can cover in one day's walk. Rolling hills across open meadows that offer 2 views of the private Raytharn farm. One at the start and one at the end of the trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
