Confirmed from Pequannock Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park with a playground and basketball court, plus a lake, picnic tables and trails.
What runners say about Pequannock Valley Park
“Bathrooms are clean public lockers, large changing area.”
“Beautiful Park in a relaxed setting, very easy to get to while still off the beaten path.”
Nice little park in the heart of pequannock, right off of rte 23. Trail around lake is not paved and has a lot of roots so if you're bringing a stroller or something, might be a little tougher. 2 huge swans were on the lake the day I was there - relatively warm day in December.
Very nice park. Not too much of a trail but the lake is beautiful! Perfect if you want don't want to walk too much. Also there was a lot of something growing that looked like cabbage everywhere. See my pics. A Google image search said its skunk cabbage! Very interesting.
Beautiful Park in a relaxed setting, very easy to get to while still off the beaten path. Ample parking, beautiful nature trails. The perfect place for a picnic or for a long nature hike basic picnic amenities are provided. Very well-preserved Park. Along with much space to do whatever outdoor activity you would like.
Nice park you can walk around the lake for free and we saw people fishing and met some swans
