Confirmed from Perrin Woods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Undeveloped nature preserve featuring unpaved paths for hiking & mountain biking.
What runners say about Perrin Woods Park
“However it is and has always been clean every time that I have went over to it.”
Impressive old forest for a city location! It took me a little while to find the trail head, it’s on the north side of the woods (see pic), there really should be a park map. Quite large tree specimens with a high canopy and active bird life. I had a relaxing and shady walk.
This is a great place.. I hold this park high on my list of things to do when I was 11, 12 and 13 yrs. It is a nature preserve.. good place to learn about nature and run wild as a kid..
It’s a small park with a historical marker a picnic area and some trails. Nothing to fancy but appears to be a nice little neighborhood park and trail.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
