Confirmed from PFC Emory L. Bennett Veterans Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with multiple softball/baseball diamonds & soccer fields, plus a playscape for children.
What runners say about PFC Emory L. Bennett Veterans Memorial Park
“The fields are well kept and the over all condition of the park is clean and inviting.”
Nice ball fields and lots of space. There's even a little walking trail that leads to Rhode Island Avenue.
I play softball at Bennett Veterans field every Sunday morning and I take my daughters dog Rudy for a walk around the park during the week.Rudy loves Bennett Veterans park and we both love to hang out in the dugout and just relax and enjoy life.We are so blessed to have this beautiful park to enjoy our time together.
Nice park, well kept. Places to walk while kids practice. Wish there was more parking on busy days. Playground for little ones.
Well lit and well maintained fields with clean facilities and ample parking. I wasn't able to find a bullpen for pitching warm ups or batting cages to do hitting practice but there were nets available to do soft toss and tea work. Overall a great place to run baseball practice or baseball games.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
