Confirmed from Pfeifer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Pfeifer Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (213 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“Very nice and clean area for sports activities: soccer, volleyball, kid's playground.”

This park is perfect to walk around with little kids and dogs! We love this older style of playground! And of course the pretty view of Mt. Hood! The only bathrooms are port-a-potties and those are not always there either.

A really nice neighborhood park, frequented by soccer clubs. A part of the North Clackamas Parks and Rec Department, this park is,we'll kept up. It's got a quarter-mile walking track around the perimeter and backs up against a big nature area.

Great park for all ages. Great for walking. Littles have access to two play structures. There is also a covered picnic area and a small basketball court. Teens are usually playing volleyball and hanging out.

Great park. I took a walk while my kids played. They have a nice playground and a walking trail so I was able to get exercise while my kids did as well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 6 mentions

“Only drawback was lack of permanent bathroom facilities, but they did provide a clean Porta john.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
