Pineridge Natural Area is one of the City of Fort Collins’ most interesting natural areas. From Dixon Reservoir in the north to the open prairie with its prairie dog colonies in the south, you will find a varied landscape to view here.
Absolutely beautiful scenic nature preserve that is right next to to Horsetooth Reservoir. On the northern side of the preserve there is a boat launch for Kayaks. Easy access all around for fishing as well. Trails ate bike and dog friendly and parking lots are free. Pretty much all the basic activities for the taking.
Visit this area during spring time there are many kinds of flower and vegetation to enjoy, you can park by Maxwell area or by spring canyon park. Dixon reservoir is in this area so if you like fishing bring your poles or just come for a run, you will love it!
Just moved to Fort Collins so had to explore some of the trails. Really liked this trail, I personally prefer dirt to paved, lots of new things to sniff for my puppies, in the summer it will be a hot one, not too busy either which is always good
