We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Pipestem Creek Bike Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Pipestem Creek Bike Trail
Tough 8 mile loop but gets easier the more you ride it! It kicked my rear end the first time I rode it. I may not be kicking its butt but I'm now getting to the point where I can slap it around a bit!
Great trais for hiking/mountain biking! Parts of the trails are grass, but for the most part, it is single track. A nice array of open, wooded areas and many climbs and down hills throughout.
My favorite local trail in Jamestown. Recently rerouted to flatten out the elevation. Usually well mowed thru summer months. Home to the Gear Grinder bike race every 3rd Sunday in August.
Lots of elevation compared to our typical ND trails. Fun and challenging.
