Confirmed from Plover River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Plover River Park
Really nice park! There are great bike trails that serve as hilly hiking trails. There is also a gravel path to walk or ride your bike on. It feels safe because there are busy-ish roads nearby and houses at the edge of the park, but it's secluded enough to enjoy the beautiful nature and ponds/river.
Some nice trails, accompanied by the songs of many types of birds. Some of the trails need a little work, there were a bunch of dead fish, and I had several ticks on me afterwards, but otherwise still had an enjoyable hike.
We live very close and walk the trails all the time with our dog. The best is sunset over Mcdill Lake.
This is part of the Green Circle that is a series of interconnected trails encircling Stevens Point Wisconsin. They provide places to walk, jog, bike in natural surroundings.
