Confirmed from Pufferbelly Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved trail crossing several roads and passing through residential neighborhoods.
What runners say about Pufferbelly Trail
“Gorgeous color in the fall, lots of woody areas, a few ponds, and you'll pass a few offices & an airfield.”
“Outstanding paved trail with lots of shade cover and benches”
This path is essential to traveling north and south across fort Wayne... thank you.
Excellent trail to walk on! And the Allen County Highway Dept keeps the trail well manicured and clean from debris. Highly recommend!
We ride every Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. with the Fort Wayne parks department from the 1st Tuesday in May to the 1st Tuesday in October. The rides are different each week. We have approximately 100 miles of trails to ride on.
Nice level trail, conveniently located. Trail head could be better marked, had to ask other folks where it began.
