This park is a bit of a drive for me but well worth it on a nice summer day. We found this park when my daughter was a new walker and it was summertime. The perfect place to park to hop on the Monon and take the trail all the way up to Sheridan. This stretch of the trail is nice and wide, less crowded than down south through Broad Ripple or even Carmel, and a very peaceful and quiet ride through country fields.
I visited Quaker Park for a birthday party this week and was impressed as how close it was in Westfield for the neighborhood. There’s a great splash area for kids and it’s pretty huge which keeps all the kids, toddlers and children busy. There is also a small trail leading up to the main street, and it’s dog friendly.
Cute little park where the splash pad is the star for warmer weather. We were able to distance well even with a few other families running around. The equipment is great for the 1-5 year-olds though there's not as much as some other nearby parks. But the amount of space available to run around is great.
