Confirmed from Quarry Hill West Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Quarry Hill West Entrance
“It was a beautiful December day for a hike on the savanna.”
It was a beautiful December day for a hike on the savanna. I was bird and deer watching. I saw two deer and lots of birds...and a Christmas tree. 🎄
Best park in Rochester. Huge hiking area with lots of paths to choose from. There's a pond with turtles and ducks, a creek, a butterfly garden, quarries (you can look for fossils), an old cellar/tunnels, a rock climbing wall, nature center, and more.
Amazing as always. The nature center has amazing staff and youth programs available. Huge park with lengthy trails with all sorts of twists and turns that support all age groups. Paved trails and unpaved. Best public community park in Rochester.
Quarry Hill is thankfully a cool & free thing you can do im Rochester! There is also numerous things to do while you're there. Head on over there and just walk for a while, enjoying the scenery they have to offer.
