Confirmed from Quinnipiac River Linear Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tree-lined trail, often paved, for walking, running and biking, plus playground and picnic facilities.
What runners say about Quinnipiac River Linear Trail
“Great place to unwind, it’s nice, relaxing and clean.”
“Wonderful, peaceful and beautiful place to get in a little work out!”
“This park is really beautiful and is very well marked.”
This park is really beautiful and is very well marked. It is marked at every tenth of a mile. The entire trek is a bit over 2 miles or 4 miles round trip. This is a great park to go hiking with the kids or if you are recovering from some form of injury because it is a easy, flat, and paved trail.
This is a beautiful stroller-friendly walk. The path runs alongside a busy road so it's quite loud (trees do block the view of the road though.) My toddler loved being here, especially since there are swings and a slide by the trailhead.
This is a pretty decent walking trail. It’s about 4 miles if you walk the entire flat, long piece. It’s nice in the morning, though you can hear the hum of the traffic nearby.
Beautiful! What a wonderful repurposing of the old train lines. A paved trail so we could take my mother-in-law out on her scooter so everyone could enjoy the outdoors. Nice on hot/warm days as you walk through the woods and under tree canopies.
